Originally from Cardigan in West Wales but now residing in Cardiff , has been singing since she was 15 and performing on stage with The National Youth Theatre of Wales for three years   ( same year as Michael Sheen )  , radio and with bands in Welsh and English . 

 

1985 -2006 - various covers bands - out to lunch blues and , steamhouse covers band , in the red blues band , Lolita and the lounge lizards jazz band to name but a few 

 

2006 - ongoing ..... sings and plays the ukulele and piano in - Omega Two with Pete Mathison guitarist with Ray Davies in 90’s. Playing at various residencies - Dead Canary , the book club , Rummer Tavern,Cafe jazz  and Brecon JazzFestival and Aberjazz in Fishguard . Also work with Pete for Musicare in the carehomes .

 

2011 - ongoing - residency at The Parkway Hotel , Cwmbran with piano player Lyndon Jones 

 

2017 - and and recorded on Van Morrison’s album Roll with the punches 

 

2017 - ongoing -  Wee Small Hours Duo - with pianist Gareth Hall . Playing at the Angel Hotel in Abergavenny and the Abergavenny hotel in Abergavenny .

 

2010 - ongoing - She is very much in demand as a jazz singer for The Keith Little Trio performing at Brecon Jazz Festical , Cafe jazz , Cardiff  , Penarth Pavilion and other venues throughout wales.

 

2017- ongoing - performing at the school of architecture cardiff university end of year exhibition 

for Prof Chris Tweed 

 

2015 - ongoing - The Rhythm Aces - asked to join the already established Jazz  quartet and now a regular member playing at Jazzclub’s throughout wales and south west - Cafe Jazz , cardiff , Warmely jazz club Bristol , Malvern jazz club .

 

2017 - ongoing  - works for a company called Musicare performing in and around Wales at Carehomes and Nursing homes bringing music to the residents there.

 

2018 — ongoing - headhunted by Wild Willy Barrett ( of John Ottway & ‘Really Free ‘ fame ) she is now lead singer , ukulele drummer & piano player in Wild Willy Barretts Roaring Touring performing all over the UK

 

 

2018 - ongoing - As well as more initmate jazz singing she has recently joined a Big Band called The Skyliners Big band regulalrly performing in the South Wales Area and has since been approached by other big bands with a view to some work .

 

2018- ongoing - running a ukulele group every Monday night .

 

2019 - ongoing - writing and started recording original material and collaboration with others such as Bella Collins and also Andy Leggett - saxophonist and composer with LuckyG Publishing.

 

2020 - ongoing - formed the Jane Williams Jazz Quintet - with the guitarist Mike Frost , Saxophonist Andy Leggett , String Bass Don Sweeney and Greg Evans on Drums 

 

2020 - Session singer - performed sessions for Danny Chang at The  Grain Store studio in West Wales  , Richard Dunn ( previously Van Morrison’s piano player ) , Jazz saxophonist Andy Legget of Sweet  Substitute band in Bristol ,  Rob Mills re The Hailers based in LA .

 

 April - September 2020 - Asked to sing and perform on a unpaid lockdown collaboration aptly named   PLAGUE SONGS  with various artists and actors from around the UK ,  available on YouTube and Spotify . Music written by Jon Tregenna and all words,lyrics and images by Guardian newspaper artist Martin Rowson .Everything recorded at our individual homes. 

 

July  2020 - ongoing -  As I do so much freelance work singing in carehomes I decided to start writing a musical about how the whole of the carehome industry has been affected by Covid 19 .

March 2022 - Tutor for Community Music Wales running Ukulele workshops and Songwriting workshops 

 

August 2022 - ongoing - Busking / open air stage co-ordinator for Brecon Jazz Festival.

February 2023 - WOMEN IN JAZZ ENSEMBLE - a celebration of 7 Women on the  Jazz scene in Wales 

​

June 2023 -  ongoing - Ukulele tutor at Llanover Hall , Cardiff for Cardiff council 

​

July 2023 - Piano/Ukulele and Vocals for The Icons band with Danny Chang.
